Derek’s whiskey tasting was a highlight of our trip to Dublin. He was flexible with scheduling and selected whiskey at multiple price points, including some very accessible, and affordable options (a rarity at some tastings). His interactive and conversational style ensured all of our questions were answered. His passion for his work is evident, and he’s only matched by his enthusiasm. Highly recommend.

This is a really unique tasting experience. It’s small group so you can ask lots of questions, and Derek is really knowledgeable. You also get to taste some really different whiskeys and the experience is super fun! Can’t recommend it enough.

Had a wonderful night in M.P. Walsh, where Derek ran through some cracking irish whiskeys, gained a great insight into some old reliable and new emerging irish whiskies. Derek’s knowledge was excellent, you would find it hard to beat Experience Irish Whiskey when it comes to having a fun night tasting the best Ireland has to offer in terms of whiskey.

Whether you’re a whiskey lover or not, the Irish whiskey experience is a great activity to do in Dublin alone or with a group of friends. The host, Derek, was very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. You can learn a lot about whiskey history and try whiskey from different Irish brands.
