What's The Buzz About Our Tours
An absolute pleasure to hear Derek share his vast knowledge of Irish Whisky. On top of his many interesting facts and insights, he is a charismatic and friendly human with a great sense of humour. A huge recommendation to try his tour.
This man is a walking whiskey-dictonary! Nice guide, cool bars, good time with my friends! Better take some notes, because you will get a truckload of information 🙂
Patrick was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide as we strolled through the Liberties, learning about Pearse Lyons, Roe & Coe, and Powers. We then enjoyed stops at some top-notch pubs. Derek, the organizer, even joined us at the final stop, The Swan. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to boost their Irish whiskey knowledge and have some great Cráic. Sláinte!
We booked Derek for the tour on NYE. There were 4 of us including our 2 sons aged 19 and 22.Derek was fabulous – entertaining, informative and very helpful. the 2 boys loved it – tasting the whiskies and the beer !!- a great way to spend a couple of hours.
definitely recommend this tour – do not bother with the Guinness Tour!!
This was a fantastic experience. Derek is a brilliant guide and we had the best time with him. He takes you off the beaten path to some incredible old pubs, you taste some delicious whiskeys and his knowledge, stories and anecdotes are just incredible. I cannot recommend this enough and when we are back we will try some of the other tours on offer. Such an amazing treat!
Patrick Fox was a great guide and so informative! He was very knowledgeable on the whiskey we had and my husband liked his overall personality. I liked he didn’t mind we were a bit behind because of traffic. Would do this again next visit to Dublin! Highly recommend
This tour was amazing! With just a few days in Dublin, it was a fantastic way to explore hidden parts of town. Patrick was an outstanding guide, sharing stories about the buildings, local history, and Irish whiskey. The small group made it personal, and Patrick’s engaging style and humor made the time fly by. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a fun, informative experience!
Couldn’t recommend the Sip & Stroll tour highly enough! Our tour guide Patrick was brilliant, he really knew his stuff about whiskey and had all the local knowledge about the area. The tour itself is really well organised with great whiskeys to taste and lovely pubs.
The Sip and Stroll Tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Dublin. We had a complete blast and learned a lot about the history of not only Irish whiskey, but the Liberties neighborhood as well. Derek is super knowledgeable, friendly, and a lot of fun. Would highly recommend!
I booked the historic Dublin whiskey walk for me and 8 friends, and it was excellent—couldn’t have asked for more! Derek is incredibly knowledgeable about whiskey and Irish history. Communication was professional, and he gave us great tips on what to see in Dublin. We had the best afternoon and would definitely recommend and do it again!
Fantastic experience with Derek who is an absolute gentleman and expert on all aspects of Irish whiskey. The tasting happened at The Swan Pub which was warm and comfortable. We sampled a top class lineup of whiskies and had interesting discussion and stories. Highly recommended.
This is a fun way to try different beers, whiskies, and Irish Pubs, and see a lot of historical landmarks dedicated to Irish whiskey.
